Piranha 3 in 3D

Started work on Piranha 3 with Alex Aja almost a year ago. Pretty obvious what I might be doing. Although, I will give nothing away. This is an image I got off the internet, BTW.
Been shooting in Lake Havasu for the last week. Crazy stuff. The VFX Sup showed me the fish today in 3D!!!. Rocked! And that was without any texture work. Looks like it is off to a great start!

I'm a concept designer in the entertainment industry. My focus lately has been on creature and character design but I still have a passion for object and environment. I'm also a teacher at the Art Center College of Design and at the Gnomon School of Visual Effects. Since May 2005, I've been completely busy on Cloverfield, Avatar, The Hulk, Star Trek 2008 and The Watchman. Obviously, I can't share much from the last 2.5 years of my work life (yet...), but I can at least tease you with the posters!

Great design! I have heard this movie is a pretty fun gore flick. I also knew this would be one of the few good 3D movies out this year since it was already going to be 3D a while before all these darn 3D movies started to come out. Great work on the design Neville! I love your work.
